I'm curious how the breakup got Briar into the hobby of murdering people
They got into an altercation because Briar has abandonment issues (thank you parents ❤️)
He lost Alex, one of his only friends, when he moved, and he was worried that if Vlad broke up with him he'd lose him too
So Briar starts pleading for him to stay and he gets just a bit too close so Vlad shoves him away
Then yelling picks up and things get even more physical and it ends with Briar being so scared for his life (adrenaline rush most likely) he grabs the nearest object in the alley they found themselves in and he stabs Vlad 😬 (as pictured above)
After that Briar flees the scene and Vlad and his family (consisting of his father and older sibling) flee to the other side of the country, which is where Vlad eventually meets his current boyfriends, Chad and Brad!
But after that had happened the community of vampires in Briar's area got pissy with him because one of the most well known vampires and richest (Vlad's father) was forced out of the area because of him
They start attacking Briar and blaming him for ruining the community and so he starts defending himself
Getting the taste for blood (ironically) Briar goes on to kill anyone who even looks at him wrong as his defense/coping mechanism :]
Things only get more murder-y when he gets with his future gf Calypso
