Ada Lovelace, is celebrated as the first computer programmer. In the early 19th century, she wrote detailed notes on Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine, a pioneering mechanical computer.
Among these notes was an algorithm designed to compute Bernoulli numbers, which is recognized as the first published computer program. At a time when computing was an uncharted territory, Lovelace envisioned the potential of machines to perform complex tasks beyond basic arithmetic.
Her foresight and contributions laid the groundwork for modern computer science.

okk, lets start from the begining, this BEAUTIFUL AND SMART WOMAN is AUGUSTA ADA KING, know as Ada Lovelace or Ada Byron.
(YES, she is daughter of our great poet Lord Byron!)
But why am i speaking of her? well, SHE studied the machine created by Charles Babbage, and She was the first to recognise that the machine had applications beyond pure calculation, and to have published the first algorithm intended to be carried out by such a machine. As a result, she is often regarded as the first computer programmer.
We are talking about WOMAN being able to do great things in 19th century in a male field!
And HER work was used by ALAN TURING when he was trying to build a computer! Now i ask you: how many times do you see a picture of her or Alan Turing in your history books? the answer is probably NONE! (this i can affirm, after searching over 10 books that i have in my house, and finding none) But you’ll probably find some picture of a guy who use THEIR studies to continue the progress of programming.
SO PLEASE, dont refer her as Lord Byron’s daugther (yes the fact that she is his daugther is FANTASTIC, but dont forget her legacy, she is bigger than a poets daugther) refere her as THE WOMAN who was responsable for the great advance in computing (I don’t want to decreasing man’s work, but sometimes woman and other minorities NEED to feel represented)

Electricity was known, but not electrons and Ben Franklin had mis-identified that electricity flowed from positive to negative. Against this background, when Charles Babbage proposed an "analytical engine" to do number crunching, all that was available was a machine made of metal. Ada King figured out how to do this, but manufacturing technology wasn't up to doing the job. (At least on a repetitively copied basis. Someone, quite possibly Archimedes, had done it about two thousand years earlier as a one-off with an analog celestial predictor found in a shipwreck near Antikythera, Greece.) If Babbage had thought of the first computer, then Ada is the first computer programmer. World War 2 ships had Babbage/King-type mechanical computers to help aim their guns. A Popular Science film short showed a mechanical computer in use at a university in the late 40s or early 50s preparing graphs of solutions to problems. Steel and precision machining had made the mechanical analytical engine a reality.
An electronic device to solve problems was installed and used successfully at the Royal Codes and Cyphers School, Bletchley Park, during World War 2 as a one-off for breaking Nazi codes. The US started to produce electronic computers in the late 40s that evolved into the device that you're using right now.

The devices we are familiar with today emerged during the 20th century, but the first “computer programmer” lived a century earlier. Not only does that surprise many, but the gender of this programmer also raises eyebrows. Augusta Ada King, the Countess of Lovelace, or “The Enchantress of Number”, as the polymath Charles Babbage (1791-1871) called her, went against social norms to study mathematics and receive the accolade of the first computer programmer.
