It is all too amusing to watch his reaction. To listen to him blame her for him being here when she never once forced him to be. Sure, she had extended an invitation, but she didn’t hold a gun to his head and demand he come.

“You came of your own free will.” Ada points out, arms crossing over her chest as she tilts her head to meet his gaze. She seems quite amused at his reaction to this entire thing, it’s written all over her face.

“You can go, if you’d like. I’m not forcing you to stay.” She can handle this just fine on her own, no matter the circumstances. She’s found her way out of many situations before without so much as a scratch.

The world has gone to shit again because of course it has? When is it not going to shit? With greedy corporations in control and villains everywhere - and not just the super villain kind - it’s hard to keep the world from going to hell in a hand basket. 

Once more there’s a zombie outbreak. This time within the city of New York. Home of the Avengers - Ada wants to laugh, those so called super heroes have never seen this kind of thing, they won’t stand a chance against mutated zombies. The only one that really stands a chance is her former friend (enemy?) Natasha Romanoff. 

Which is why she’s here, at an agreed upon meeting place, to speak to the other Spy. Too many ears at the Avengers Headquarters, the spy had refused to talk there. She’d chosen a secluded spot, away from zombies, and what little zombies were here she cleared from zombies.

Footsteps approach, entering the old abandoned warehouse and Ada spins around, crossbow aimed - arrow at the ready and finger near the trigger before she sees it’s Natasha and it lowered. “About time you showed up.” She states, placing the crossbow in its spot upon her back.

“I believe someone within SHIELD has done this.” Straight to business, as usual. “I need your help getting the virus.”

Ada can not help but roll her eyes at the other’s snarky reaction. Leon didn’t tell her how feisty Claire is, she likes that. Good. The girl needs to have a fiery nature to make it in a world like this, a shitty world that will eat Claire alive if she lets it.

“Sue me for wanting to display even a modicum of concern.” Ada eyes the bruise, it looks pretty painful but at least it’s just a bruise. Nothing more than that. “Come on, let’s keep going.”

It’s all gone to hell yet again. Someone had gotten hold of another T-Virus and used it. There are zombies everywhere and she’s simply passing this small town by the name of Hawkins on her way to a bigger city where she stands a bigger chance.

She doesn’t expect anyone to be alive in this town. She’d grappled herself up onto the roof of some building and when she looks down, she sees a girl surrounded by zombies. The poor girl looks scared out of her mind and while it’s not her problem, Ada can’t just let the girl die here.

Grappling herself to another building, she uses the grapple to swing and lift her legs up to slam heels into the zombie closet to Robin in order to knock it back. Letting go of the grapple, she lands on the ground, and a second later her heel smashes right into the zombie’s head.

A look of disgust crosses her features as the blood spills onto her heels is given as she grabs the cross bow off of her back and then she’s standing in front of Robin, firing off a serious of arrows with perfect aim, right into their heads. The four zombies are down and as soon as they are, Ada turns to face Robin.

“That was a close one. Are you alright?  Are you injured? C’mon,  we’ve got to move.”

Being a spy, Ada is well versed in the art of distractions. They're being followed, she's figured that out about five minutes ago when they first started following. The question is, did Blade notice too, and did these guys know exactly who they are following?

Whoever they are, Ada has a long list of enemies, it could be anyone.

They turn in a corner and before the culprits can see where they had gone, Ada finds herself spun around and shoved against the wall. She knows exactly what he's doing so she accepts it, she does not try to peer around him, no reason to give them a chance to see her face.

"You know, if you really wanted to protect me from whoever is chasing us, you could kiss me. That tends to make people go away." Lips curl up in a teasing smirk.

Ah. This is not what she expected when they decided to get a room for the night in a place that’s surprisingly not infected. They need rest (or at least she does) before the outbreak hits near them again and Ada had expected two beds instead of one.
