Naturally, behind any successful DVD exists a concept, developed by a director, a producer, a recording studio. In Cuba we have various examples, but the most recent is the DVD Que suene el son, caballero, dedicated to the maestro Adalberto Alvarez, winner of the CUBADISCO 2011 Prize in the CD-DVD category, as well as in non-fiction.

The 2008 National Prize for Music winner, pianist, composer, arranger and band leader, Adalberto Alvarez is no doubt Cuba's sonero par excellence. His personality and unmistakable style represent the first outstanding qualities of the DVD, which reaffirms with its title that Adalberto is considered the caballero, the gentleman, of son.
