We are deeply saddened by the loss of our good friend Adam Haut, who played violin, musical saw, and sang in Boston folk-punk troupe Bread & Roses. He was a fantastic artist and musician, a total sweetheart, and it was always a pleasure working/playing/drinking/laughing together. Bread & Roses are a part of the old school gang of bands that inspired us to start a label: Mischief Brew, Bread & Roses, The Can Kickers, Evil Robot Us'...and if you could hop in a time machine and go back to 2005, you might find that exact list of bands on the same bill somewhere in a barn or bar in New England. He will be sorely missed, but greatly remembered. In honor of Adam, we have put the Mischief Brew/Bread & Roses split EP "Loved, But Unrespected" on the MB Bandcamp for free. If you decide to donate anything, 100% of the proceeds will go towards a memorial contribution to Dog Days Adoption in Old Saybrook, CT in Adam's name. You can also find their first full length "Deep River Day" on the webstore, and their 2nd unreleased LP "Songbooks Of The War" on their Bandcamp. Rest in power, buddy.
