I feel it too. Here if you need a pick-me-up. // from yuri <3

Shura let the words settle. They loosened something in her chest, even if only a little. She drew in a slow breath through her nose, forcing herself to swallow the frustration before it could spill onto the one person who didn't deserve it.
A faint smile found its way onto her face as she looked up.
Inko seems to have an eye for all of Ayano's little tells, the subtle details that gave away whatever emotion it was that Ayano was trying to hide. She supposes that's the result of over two decades of friendship. Very close friendship.
The slight fidgeting in her seat. The constant brushing back of stray bangs. The way Ayano hid the disinterest on her face behind her glass. It was nice, of course, for U.A. to host something for the parents and teachers, and with two children attending the school, of course, she had been invited. Originally she hadn't planned to go, but... Well, Inko reached out to ask if she would, and so despite herself, Ayano agreed.
But oh, she's terribly agitated under her mask of serenity. Her husband has been on a long trip, and with the end of the fiscal quarter approaching, her work was busier than ever. In other words, Ayano's pent up, and that's only one of many kinds of frustration she's been harboring the last couple of weeks. At this point, she was tempted to cave and pick smoking back up.
Maybe the wine hadn't been the greatest idea. She had only a glass, but it stirred up a warmth in her face and chest that turned into a gnawing want. It didn't help that she had more than enough eye candy to enjoy at this event, but there were too many business associates of hers for her to feel secure in flirting with them. Especially with so many of them being happily married. Or gay. Or whatever it was Endeavor is.
She can't even splash water on her face to cool down. Her makeup is too nice for that.
And it wasn't just her sex life. She could feel all the irritation of the last few weeks building, more sensitive than every to the annoying little habits of the people around her; the world felt harsher, and she knew that a spiral was on the horizon if she didn't get herself together. Maybe she'd just get herself off in the bathroom and go back out there. It'd be trashy, but it wouldn't be the first time.
She's too busy trying to un-see what looks to her to be a slight unevenness in her eyebrows to notice someone else coming in until the sound of a gentle greeting and inquiry about how she was feeling chimes in the cool quiet of the bathroom. Her friend puts her hand on Ayano's back, and instead Ayano pulls her into an embrace
"I'm so annoyed," she mumbles, undeniably sulky. "This party is pointless. I don't want to talk to any of these people. They're all bothersome." Ayano nuzzles against Inko's neck, trying to soothe herself with the familiar smell of her friend. "I have things I could be doing," her hold tightens, and before even she knows it she's started to try and slot her thigh between Inko's own. "I think my eyebrows are out of alignment. The ballroom trim has 277 ornaments carved into it. My husband's been out of town for two weeks." Through the course of her rant, she's backed Inko against the countertop, pressed close, one hand entwined with hers and the other resting on her lower back. It almost looks like the start of a waltz, albeit a bit more flustered. "There are more spoons than forks in the dining area. The woman across from me holds her white wine like it's a red. I might as well just get myself off here and leave. It's all-"
She would continue to list everything scraping against her sensibilities, but it's cut short by a sweet kiss from the taller woman as she leverages herself back upright, and at her words, Ayano finds herself acquiescing.
"Alright," she says, voice much softer than the petulant little mutters from before. "Please take good care of me, Inko."
[SHY:] Sender covers their face and receiver moves their hands away.
"Are you hiding from me, Inko? How am I supposed to enjoy all the pretty faces you make if you keep covering them up?"
They're a tangle of limbs in the backseat of Ayano's car, with the murmured confession that the only reason she even bothered with a car that has a backseat was for things like this; that the heated massage seats, warm lighting, and sleek seat covers that Inko had innocently pointed out as being perfect for a car-camping sleepover were entirely intended to enable this very moment.
Ayano Monoma is a very naughty woman, it turns out. Far beyond the confident flirtations and racy outfits she normally let Inko see. But whatever veil of decency has been pierced when the innocent milkshake-and-venting session had fallen into a lull. Ayano had swirled around the last of her drink and watched the half-melted pink spin before she turned to Inko and, shamelessly, said;
"Every time you wear that skirt I think about how good you'd look if I fingered you in it. Would you show me? I've got lube in the back."
She and Mitsuki weren't committed like that and nearing the end of their relationship anyways. (Of course they, too, had banged in the backseat of her car. But it was best not to think about it.) Why not, right?
And that's how they ended up in varying states of undress, her bra half unclasped; Inko's skirt, of course, still on while Ayano rubbed at her clitoris gently through her panties, lapping at the sweat between her breasts.
' That was amazing, ' With the demon ashes on the wind, she gives her a playful wave of her hand. ' It isn't often I get to see you in action, Kanroji. '
[ shared dessert ] sender offers the last bite of their favorite dessert // ehehe c:
"Ah, really~? For me?" Ayano twirls a lock of hair around her finger and swings her legs. For not being so sure on them pretending to be a couple to get the discount this place offered for the day-- well, Inko certainly was dong a great job playing the part, although maybe that's just because Inko was always like that.
It was Ayano's idea; both because she wanted the discount (Ayano was a savvy shopper, even though she made plenty of money) and because, maybe, she wanted an excuse to spend time with her dearest friend. And an excuse to hold that friend's hand and kiss her temple and give everyone else the impression that they were a couple. Maybe she could even figure out how to get a kiss out of all of this.
But for now, the mochi was more than enough, and she takes the bite with a smile.
"You're always so sweet, Inko~!" She reaches over and laces their fingers together, bringing her knuckles up for a little kiss. "Better than any mochi, I think."
the beach on a sunny day, the sound of children laughing in the distance alongside the seagulls begging for food
"I'm so happy you were able to join us, Inko." The blonde woman smiles under the shade of her sunhat, sunglasses reflecting Inko's reflection back at her. "Mitsuki-chan, too."
The multi-family trip was proposed and largely funded by, of course, the Monomas-- with Ayano's fondness for Inko motivating more than a few of the decisions made-- including the decision to invite the Bakugous.
Ayano reclines on her lounge chair propped up on a pillow, looking all the world like some sort of spoiled empress, cradling a cocktail in one hand, wrapped in a not-so-covering shimmering coverup.
A little off in the distance, the four sons between them were having at it in a game of beach volleyball. Occasionally, Ayano glanced over her shoulder at the screaming, but she didn't seem to find anything egregious enough to be worth intervention.
outside of a train station at midnight, the air is cold and there's a light drizzle
"Hey, mom. Sorry for calling you this late," Touya says, standing just a pace or so away, hovering at the edge of closeness. This happened, sometimes, the prodigal son calling out of the blue and asking to be picked up-- and that call was always for her. Never for his father.
Touya slipped in and out of existence after leaving home. Sometimes he would appear in a blaze of glory, talking about 4.0 transcripts, victories in the ring-- sometimes he would appear like a ghost, a little too thin in the face, bedraggled, sometimes a chip on his shoulder, sometimes not. Sometimes they didn't hear from him for weeks or months at a time. It was happening more and more, recently.
But now he stood there, in the cold, draped in a too-big black jacket that clearly wasn't his because it smelled strongly of cigarettes, bag slung over his shoulder and facial scarring only deepening the look of exhaustion on his face.
"Can I crash at home for a couple of days? It won't be long."
[FEVER] - Sender is visibly feverish, sweating buckets and still denying to Receiver that they are sick and need to rest. // inko for aya c:
If there is one thing about Ayano, it is that she is not easily swayed. She runs a successful, multi-billion dollar corporation. She raised two notoriously difficult twins. Her husband has the impulse control of a lobotomized squirrel. (Albeit a very handsome one.)
If there is anything that teaches you to steamroll the meek and downtrodden, it's that, and that is exactly what she is going to do. Because she's right, and knows better. Her eyes narrow. She folds her arms and shifts her weight onto one foot.
"Inko," she begins, using the sort of tone she used with her boys when they got themselves into trouble. "Do you think I'm stupid? Is that what this is? Or you do you not trust me enough to give you a hand? We've known each other almost three decades, and you don't trust me to help you out a little? I called you when my water broke, and you won't let me get you a glass of water." She clicks her tongue. When the other woman begins to protest, Ayano raises a hand to cut her off.
"Listen, Inko..." suddenly her demeanor softens, drawing closer so she can take one of Inko's hands in hers and wrap her other arm around her waist. "I know that you aren't the type of lady to mean that, right? You've always been such a good friend to me. My feelings are hurt, but... Ah, you'll make it up to me, won't you? I can forgive the insult if you'll just amend your behavior and come along to bed. Water under the bridge."
