Knitting club!
I love my knitting club!
I mean, I love knitting and I love that there are students who are interested in knitting. I’m also super happy that there are two other adults willing to sacrifice their lunch period with me to have a knitting club.
I’m looking for any and all sorts of donations. If you make an official donation it could be tax-deductible. I’d get you all the right sorts of forms and such. We’re looking for any yarns and needles. Super special props if you can find any sorts of adaptive needles for students with physical disabilities (like special grips or something. I actually have no idea if those are even a thing. I guess I should look into it).
I am also looking into charities that would take a (probably pretty shoddy looking) blanket that we make. It would be a great honor to do a like patchwork blanket.
And one of my return students really took off in knitting last year. I’m teaching her how to make a simple hat. It’s going to be great!
