normally gael liked keeping things neat and orderly in his life, he enjoyed being able to label and categorize and know what to expect, which wasn't something he could do with addison. she was technically a friend of a friend, perhaps, and yet no matter what he deemed her, gael knew she wasn't someone he could ignore at a social gather. god, he'd much rather be at home with his laptop, but eye contact meant he couldn't pull out his phone and ignore her while being polite. not that he generally cared about being polite. "how did you get stuck at this place?" he asked, skipping past pleasantries like hello. @addisonferraro
