Hidden Hamano lore...
One of my favorite hayami and hamano as senpai headcanons yet is that hamano is a lot of times wrong but always say things so confidently that his juniors follow his advice everytime. His confidence is driven by this advice working for him without the awareness that it's usually a circumstantial problem and he has his own system that he follows (audhd + npd hamano hc).
Whereas, hayami (also audhd) is exactly the opposite. His advice is right down to the T and is always useful but he always says it with unsureness that the younger years find it hard to trust. The lines he usuall add are "but idk i can be wrong" "but I think it depends on what youre used to" "but i think you should ask shindou/kirino about it anyway just to be sure"
(Hayami is very confident with history and esp chinese lit/history though)
Only oc lore dump beyond this point...
please dont forget about Hamano Kaiji hes such a good boy
Finishing off this batch of doujinshi is the one that utterly broke me on my first “read”.
**NOTE: Titles are Google-translated into English, and thus may not be entirely accurate. Also, I am not fluent in Japanese (my ability is barely preschool level), so I’m basing these doujinshi stories largely on visual context. If anyone would like to translate or view/read any doujinshi I cover, you’re welcome to message me, and I can send you some scans that you can use however you like.
心臓 ("Heart"), written and drawn by Wada of the circle Washibana, revolves around the more conventional Trio ship, Ade/Eugene. However, if you’re expecting sunshine and rainbows, you’re going to be very disappointed. Without spoiling too much, this is a story about loss, depression, and grief, showcasing various, interconnected scenarios that, from a purely visual context, leaves one wondering what’s real and what’s not. From the cover to the interior art, the light, sketchy, and painterly style of Wada perfectly fits the ethereal, grim, slightly surreal mood of the story. If you like dramatic, bittersweet, and weighty stories, this could be worth your time. But if you prefer to avoid tragedy in your fanfics, I would suggest avoiding this.
(Also, a warning: this story contains (non-explicit, but suggestive) sexual content involving minors. I was NOT aware of this when purchasing this doujin, so this is a warning to avoid or approach with caution.)
Ade and Eugene, all dressed up to go fishing! I had a doodle in my sketchbook that I wanted to see colored, so I traced it and went all out on it.
As of this typing, I’m still waiting/having technical difficulties, but keep an eye out for updates to my Patreon and RedBubble, where I’ll be featuring this drawing and offering goodies!
