Bc Hades has me going through yet another greek myth phase, I just need to say that PJO AU Del would be a child of Athena obviously - she's already got the handicrafts, strategy, and vendetta against spiders down.

She would probably also be tempted to join the Hunters of Artemis, but she's not much for hunting or combat. She's just an ace lesbian lol.

In a Hades AU she's just a random shade who was killed by Duanalla (a spider monster). Del is mortally wounded thinking she's protecting her students from the monster, not realizing that Duanalla had always planned to kill Del specifically just to spite Del's estranged aunt. She’s only able to see parts of the full story right at the end, and dies knowing that she was just caught up in something that’s so much bigger than and indifferent to her. Her final act - the only thing she can do now to try and defy fate - is to pray for vengeance, and she receives in swiftly.

In the Underworld, she makes a home in Asphodel and sews clothing and trinkets that she offers to Zagerus when he stops by.

I’m already thinking about redoing this because I hate myself but I’m still overall pleased how this new doll of Del came out! I mostly used it as an opportunity to learn how to render skin, so tbh I like the base way more than the version with clothing lmao

I woke up in the middle of a dream about Del and her aunt, in which Del was asking her aunt "Was I not good enough for you to stay with me? Was there something wrong with me? Who do you want me to be?" which is almost certainly the sort of thing that canonically went through her head when Lorna left

And now I'm like, how am I even supposed to get back to sleep after that
