The first time that the hooded keybearer had walked past the young elezen seemed to have his encounter with the Nix under control. Artemis had taken advantage of the commotion to avoid the giant frog and sneak by unnoticed. At least, to her knowledge she had slipped by unnoticed. She ran over toward the camp to gather the materials that she was asked to gather.
All in the meanwhile, Artemis did keep an ear out on the fight while she gathered everything that the requester wanted into a small bag that she brought with her. By the time the keybearer finished and slung the bag over her shoulder, the battle sounded that it is still going on and a quick glance upward told her that they didn’t have it under control anymore. Did more Nix show up? She could’ve sworn that there was only one giant frog minutes ago.
“Deliora be damned.” She cursed under her breath and summoned the Heartsickness keyblade to her hand. As she heads uphill, Artemis dragged the keyblade on the ground to freeze the dirt road underneath until she slips past the Nixes to reach the elezen youth to offer her help.
“Alright then. With everything set up, all it needs is a good push to knock them down...” The hooded keybearer meant it figuratively as she has no intention on touching the giant frogs much less shoving it, if she could help it. Artemis raises her weapon up to cast dark blizzara toward the frogs except that the spell seemed to barely make them budge which causes her to frown. Why didn’t that work? Was the spell not strong enough? She wonders and takes a cautious step back while staring them down.
