Aden Batar, Director of Immigration and Refugee Resettlement

Catholic Community Services of Utah (CCS) has been resettling refugees since the Vietnam War. Utah is home to more than 60,000 refugees from all around the world, with different cultures, religions, and experiences. Today, there are 60 million displaced persons and refugees. The Obama administration has committed to resettling 125,000 refugees next fiscal year. We plan to assist in those efforts and in especially resettling Syrian refugees. There is still so much work to be done.
