Someone: mentions the Ramones
Me, who consistently finds them the subject of my hyperfixations and who has a lot of feelings about them:
*Slowly unravels and eats my way to the center of a single, raw brussel sprout*
I'm convinced
AĀ jack of all tradesĀ is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one
Apply heavily to adhd folks
Wanted to write this in class
We had a new professorr today and he was more upbeat and interesting than our previous one. Which is why I stayed focused for longer than I normally have. And I was wondering is this how regular people feel. Do I even have ADHD. Maybe I'm just imagining my mento illness.
Then I started congratulating myself for paying attention. Then I "woke up" a few minutes later and realized I had drifted off. Iike I was not present in the class. This was 15 minutes in I would guess. I don't know. It's kinda hard to tell time when you keep drifting off.
Now it's 22:17 and I am writing this.
Mom: I know about ADHD. It's just not being able to focus, but you can if you really try
Me: *hyperfocusing on Autistic!Newt Scamander fluffy fics and on how blue my wall is* *no object permanence* *no sense of time or direction* *intense daydreaming* *barely able to speak today bc I was so distracted and lost in thought* is that so
The I dont give a fuck feeling
When your adhd is running high, cause you have no control over your life at the moment. So you end up neglecting everything because it's not fun putting the pieces back in order. Even though order is what is needed to get better.
It's become easier to send my Vyvanse refill through my psychiatrist's office directly while using Kroger pharmacy than the automated system.
I apologized for the necessity but said in a previous email that it's hopefully funner to deal with me than the pharmacy.
The nurse's office confirmed that it, indeed, was funner.
As such, every month I get an opportunity to send these kinds of emails to the nurse's office. I think I need to up my game next month, honestly.

My email reads:
Get excited!
It's that time again!
I need a refill of the 10mg Vyvanse to send to my pharmacy.
Hope you're having a fantastic day and thank you!
Nurse administrator responds:
