Wait this happened before I didn't know Apple was like this to Tumblr any way when did this happen?

TL;DR: Tumblr used to allow adult content, Apple noticed some illegal stuff on Tumblr and pulled the app off the app store, Tumblr banned all adult content and it's heavily speculated that Apple at least had a say in it, if not being fully behind it

Before the end of 2018, Tumblr had a big community for those who consumed/made/spoke about adult contents! Said community was also largely made up of LGBTQ+ members and thusly became a lot of people's safe space! However while Tumblr had done pretty well so far to make sure no creeps were on here, some people exploited missing filters and started posting some very illegal adult content- Apple found out, pulled Tumblr off the app store, and not long after, Tumblr announced they'd be removing all adult content with some exceptions. Tumblr didn't get placed back onto the app store until after the ban took effect

Now it wasn't explicitly stated that Apple was the one behind the removal of all adult content, but it's been heavily speculated since then because it was a BIG change for Tumblr at the time- Especially when Tumblr figured out the problem and would be able to immediately fix it- Why get rid of it all when you can easily fix the thing that made it a problem? Why did Tumblr stay off the app store until after the ban(I'm sure they banned the blogs posting the illegal shit after all-)? Probably because Apple, who doesn't like adult content at all (despite it not being a guideline? The guidelines only states that apps have to have some sort of "safe search filter" which Tumblr did also have at the time-), told them to just get rid of it- And imo this stuff currently going on now is oddly similar to what we were saying back in 2018-

Call me a conspiracy theorist but honestly the most damning fact to me is that Tumblr wasn't allowed back on the app store until after all the adult content was gone-

Important!

With a heavy heart I finally decided to pull the plug on this blog. Pregame Kaito got a lot more love and development than I honestly expected! I made this blog of him as a way to practice getting used to rping more mean characters, and this definitely helped! To everyone who helped make PG!Kaito the way he was, thank you for turning this sour mans into a still sour mans- but with a slightly bigger heart!

Not only is this blog kinda dead, but more recently whenever someone does wanna interact with this character, it ends up feeling like a chore to me which I feel an askblog shouldn’t feel like. So that’s why I decided to officially retire the blog ;w;

As you noticed I did change my url! I didn’t wanna delete the blog entirely so anyone could read back on old events that happened, but I figured that another PG!Kaito askblog could use the name! The name was changed at around 10 pm Central Time on April 4, so at this time on April 5, anyone who’s wanting to make a PG!Kaito blog or wanting to rename their existing blog to the ask-pregame-kaito URL can do so! Tumblr keeps URLs for 24 hours just incase you change your mind so sorry that you gotta wait- ;w;

I’ll be closing the ask box later tonight, but dw!! I’m not leaving all my askblogs!! If you’re only following this blog but still wanna interact with me or blogs I run, I also run these ask blogs, so please go see if you’d like to follow them as well!

So uh,,,, We’re coming upon spooky season which so happens to also be the time when everyone puts out drawing prompts for the month of October! Though I started thinking about how there are a lot of drawing prompts but not a lot, or any that I’ve seen-, for sprite edits! Soooo I impulsively made one! Spritetober!

I put together two different ones: A daily prompt list and a weekly prompt list! You can choose whichever one you’d like to do! I’m gonna go with the weekly prompt! You can interpret these words in anyway that makes sense to you! If you do the daily ones, don’t worry about missing a few prompts here or there! This is just for fun after all! Also I made 5 weekly prompts because there are like- 4 1/2 weeks of October- But you can throw out one of the prompts if you’d like to only do 4!

Also if you don’t do sprite edits but would like to join in with drawings, that’s fine too! If you post your edits (or drawings!), feel free to @ me so I can reblog them! It isn’t necessary though!
