It's Intersex Awareness Week 2024! Did you know it is also Asexual Awareness Week this year? There are individuals who belong to both groups, such as our own Youth Program Manager Apollo (yours truly) who created this art to celebrate both. Intersex people are born with variations in their sex traits or reproductive anatomy that do not fit traditional conceptions about male and female bodies. On the other hand, asexual people experience sexual attraction in a way that deviates from societal standards, such as not experiencing it at all or only under certain circumstances. Historically, these two communities share a similar fight for bodily autonomy against societal standards that dictate what we "should do" with our bodies. Both communities also often struggle to gain visibility of their perspectives on international, mainstream social media. So, during Intersex Awareness and Asexuality Awareness Week 2024, let's put our hands together in solidarity for bodily autonomy and to be loud and proud!

Our TLer has said that they are fine with taking some scene/line retranslation requests, if you have some. We might not be able to do them right away, but it will be a fun thing to do. Please submit them in our ask box so we can track them, and make sure to add chapter number. If it's a section, ideally give us the beginning line and an end point line.

Welp, I just finished going through 18 1/2 hours of gameplay footage to take notes.

wait we're supposed to believe Jacob is distant and pushes people away? he literally trusts people so easily, all of his allies - he loves both Charlies! that was one of his faults, for trusting people too quickly - look at Pearl and Roth! he only gets distant with Evie but that is the main conflict in the game - which gets resolved! what!?

Yeah man, I was just as surprised as you to learn that is what the dialogue script writer intended. It certainly does not come off that way at all. He's hesitant with the Ghost Club because it sounds absurd and Karl Marx because it's politics, but he helps them both very quickly (with Evie's push of course yet people say he's more impulsive!). Jacob couldn't even push Jack away properly, or even Nellie and he only knew her for a handful of months! Though of course Jacob does certainly have some father issues that need resolving, but since he does not have a love interest we don't see that play out, asides from his little stint with Roth.

I am kind of glad we don't canonically know much of Jacob and Evie after the main game because I most certainly do not trust these writers to do either of them justice. It's baffling to me how different the intent verses the outcome is from some of the developers, and how different and inconsistent the writing is in the JTR DLC compared to the main game.

The day we stopped mistaking Suki for Anita the day we know peace.

It's never ending how every picture of her gets captioned as Anita, but even if you corrected them they still insist it's her. No hate whatsoever, but it's starting to get disrespectful how you guys keep doing this. You wouldn't like it if you get mistaken as your boyfriend's ex do you? I think what people should do is double check there's information about the photos somewhere.

Anita and Brian have already broken up in March 1967. They haven't been pictured as a couple since then (except they have photos together in Cannes festival May 1967, however they weren't together anymore). Anything after that date is him with Suki Potier. They were together late 1967 - April 1969.

I made this account to honor Suki. I'm here to give information about her when no one else has. There's so much misinformation out there when Suki is not here to defend herself. The first thing we should do is respect her and educate people. I know they look similar at times but people have been comparing them for decades, it's time we put that aside.

Suki and Anita are different people. They are strong and independent women who deserve credit and respect for what they do. It's 2025, and let's start doing it now.
