RIP my desktop 2014-2026. as much as I want to still figure out what killed it finally I think it’s a good time to move on and fortunately everything on the hard drive is intact (and will back up ASAP). however all the software I used on it I’ll have to reinstall on my newer computer, biggest loss being my cracked version of Adobe Premiere I was holding onto for dear life after hearing about the awful subscription service and AI garbage being implemented into it. idk if I can get the crack to work on my newer computer but I am thinking about getting away from Adobe products altogether in favor for DaVinci Resolve (unless there’s other free video editing programs any of you would suggest?) luckily I wasn’t in the middle of any projects just want to get this going so I can continue my VGM vidmix series and other things down the line :)
Adobe’s Creative Agent Is Now Inside Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io
On June 18, 2026, Adobe announced the public beta rollout of its creative agent—an AI orchestration layer embedded as an AI Assistant sidebar inside Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io (with After Effects in private beta). The agent handles multi-step production workflows—asset organization, batch operations, version generation, preflight checks, rough assembly, and brand governance—based on natural language descriptions from the creator. All outputs remain fully editable. Simultaneously, Adobe expanded Firefly as a unified creative AI studio with new Creative Skills (brand kit creation, product video, Quick Cut, storyboards to video) and private-beta features (Elements for reusable AI assets, Projects for persistent creative context). The creative agent is also now accessible through ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and Slack. Adobe's stated philosophy, backed by its own 16,000-creator survey, is to automate the operational layer of creative work while keeping all final creative decisions human.

Still working at the Callowmoore supercut (which will go up eventually) and I just wanted everyone to know that I nickname clips for editing purposes and here is one of them from the most recent episode:
Who remembers the YouTube remixer from 2007?
For some reason after I installed the latest update for Any Video Converter all the videos I inserted into premiere were muffled and added an extra audio track to my current edit.
I've double checked. This isn't a problem with the original .Mp4 files. Those sound just fine. And older .avi files open up and sound just fine in Premiere so it's not Premiere either.
I figured "okay that's a problem with this update of AVC" and I reinstalled the older version of the program. But now no matter what I do, whenever I start up AVC all I get is a blank white screen instead of the actual interface. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times now. I don't know how to fix it, and as far as I can tell there's nothing in the websites faq about this.
I need to be able to convert sometimes large files from .mp4 files to .avi for free, because .avi is what works best with my version of premiere. But I can't seem to find another suitable replacement. Does anyone here happen to have suggestions?
Any help is greatly GREATLY appreciated, even if it's just to share this around with others who might know something.
whenever i edit anything i just keep getting higher in tracks for no reason cos im either overlapping or staying on the same track and it looks really dumb lol
