To anyone possibly looking for a new thing to hyperfixate on, here are a few of my past hyperfixations just because I feel like it: Cats the musical, Doctor Who, Marvel's Agents of Shield, Endeavour (prequel to Inspector Morse), space in general, the genetics of cats' coat colours, writing and storytelling... are these somehow connected? No. I doubt that. Good stuff tho

oh I have a Big Hyperfixation for learning about ADHD and everything it affects, and also for linguistics and other languages. I also had embroidery for about a week which was fun, and drawing/visual art was a BIG hyperfixation I had for a few YEARS, but then I suddenly decided I wanted to do something /else/ for the rest of my like and it just?? suddenly stopped

Hyperfixation? Uh painting actually. I can sit and paint for a very very unhealthy amount of time. I hyperfocus and everything else does not matter

I was in a super bad mood yesterday and i jumped right back into my hyperfixation on all things Lin-Manuel Miranda

i only recently got diagnosed with adhd so i wasn’t aware that my “obsessions” were hyperfixations all along, but some of mine have been certain anime and kpop in middle school, then self-improvement both physical and mental in high school, and most recently it has been cleaning and organizing for some reason?? i don’t remember when i was younger so who knows what else

oh oh my past hyperfixations (in no specific order): doctor who, sherlock, computer programming, bts, homestuck, knitting, space, minecraft, fairy tail, attack on titan, twenty one pilots, scp foundation, figure skating (actual skating, not that one crummy anime), welcome to night vale, drums i should probably mention many have been my hyperfixations more than once, and some are also currently my hyperfixation(s)

Honestly I have and had too many hyperfixations and special interests but my newest one is Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I absolutely love it. (y'all need to give it a try)

i'm currently hyper-fixated on 'stranger things' and 'stretch armstong and the flex fighters,' but past hyper-fixations have included 'teen titans,' 'the umbrella academy,' cryptids, and furbys.
