July 2nd was Jinx's adoptaversary, so I took her to Petsmart to let her pick out whatever she wanted. She jumped out of my arms and into the bed and immediately laid down so I picked the bed up with her still in it and checked out. The lady that adopted her to us was the one to check us out and she was so happy to see Jinx. I kept her in her bed in the car ride home and she was a happy kitty

Today is Dixie’s Adoptaversary! She came home to join us 8 years ago as a two year old dog. Teagan the tabby was less than thrilled about it. Today is my cat’s adoptaversary 🐱✨🥳

Eight years ago, my husband and I decided to adopt.... a puppy to complete the family. We went to the local Humane Society.

When we went to see in the "puppy palace", these little brown eyes kept following us. A three month old (vet later said 4) terrier mix. Beautiful brown body and little white devil fork on her head. She even had my first name. We were soon in a small room holding her. She loved my habibi's lap.

When my turn came, she sat for a minute on my chest, then wanted down. I was heartbroken that she didnt like me.

But soon that changed. See, she wanted down so she could go in the corner to pee, and then immediately wanted back up into my lap. No peeing on the prospective new mommy.

She's been my baby girl since that day.
