#adrenal problems

Long time no post and I'm so sorry for that - but I just wanted to check in and see if anyone had heard any course of action for us with adrenal problems? Amidst all the coronavirus stuff should I be doubling my prednisolone? If anyone with Addison's has had any advice / information I'd be keen to know!

I also have a bunch of other autoimmune issues / not to mention asthma too - so I'm really trying to be as careful as possible!

So, anyone here with adrenal problems that can maybe answer me a question?

Obviously being back at uni is causing me an abundance of stress, but my body feels like it cannot handle it at all. I have v physical reactions, and also my mental health seems v off. Now, the only time I've ever had depression was due to a lack of steroids (trying to reduce and my dosage was way too low) and I'm wondering if because of the constant stress, I'm not getting the amount of steroids I actually need and that could be what's causing my whole body being a mess at the minute? I can't find anything online about just generalised stress and steroid intake - so this is the best place to come ask before I see my endocrinologist in a week or so.

My inability to cope with stress is becoming a real burden. Checked it out and it's absolutely a symptom of low cortisol / adrenal insufficiency etc. I get snappy, and mad at the drop of a hat because I can't cope with the stress & I'm absolutely not that person & I don't like being that way at all. Gonna try out some meditation at home and see if it helps. Other news; I've found a flat & I'll be living on my own soon! Im so excited but also a little concerned about having no one around and my health. Any advice for living alone with (especially) adrenal problems?

Starting Vyvanse + Panic Attack

Yesterday I was sitting on the couch, in the living room, with my family. On all accounts I felt secure and at ease with my surroundings. I started having chest pains, pressure in my head, shortness of breath, and a sense of impending doom. For a second I thought it was a heart attack, but I was having an anxiety attack. I was having one of the worst (physically) anxiety attacks of my life, and I was completely at ease about it (emotionally, if that makes sense, despite feeling outwardly anxious.. I’ve gotten used to some of this with POTS/tachycardia events). Evidently they can be a result of medical conditions such as mitral valve prolapse. They can also be brought on by stimulant medication. Like the vyvanse my doctor just prescribed. (Well, it seems obvious now..)

I want to learn EVERYTHING but I also don't have much cortisol.

Only those of you with a chronic illness will understand staying home from work because you're legitimately tired... ugh.
