Was on spotify and saw a deep dive 10s metal, and came across an Opeth song and now im listening to them and you know i noticed their sound sounded simuliar to Genesis. So i looked up their wiki and there it was, Genesis was one of their influences. Interesting discovery that i could recognize a style of sound.

Being mindful includes being mindful of your mind being mindful about your thoughts and why you’re thinking them not judging, just knowing what purpose your thoughts are and what they are being mindful of; if thinking about -whatever thing- is helpful, or if you want to, or even need to and knowing or realizing when you’re no longer just thinking about something- realizing when it’s no longer thinking, and when you’re brooding or ruminating over something instead, and when it’s time to stop When it’s only bringing bad feelings and/or stress and/or negativity, and moving on to something else. Making the transition.

I just had a moment where I kind of, realized, all of these stressful things or things that are making me feel bad, are all temporary. They seem big now, but they aren’t going to be there forever, aren’t going to haunt me forever. Even the acne on my skin won’t be there forever. All of this is temporary. Not that I haven’t heard this before, or thought it before, but I truly sat back and realized it for myself this time. I want to keep getting better. (and better and better and better)
