2020.01.24 Sorry this took too long. So, as some of you who followed my instastories or friends I’ve told to, I was in Russia 🇷🇺 a little less than 2 weeks ago to celebrate this beautiful being whom I used to share my chocolate with everyday at school because she finally became a doctor. 👩🏻⚕️ I wanted to be there for you because you lost your biggest supporter in life and I know, I will not or even try to think that my presence will fill her spot. As your friend I think this the least I can do for you and for your family. To represent to Wong family at your graduation. I don’t know if I’ve told you about this before but I also remember this random conversation your mum and I had long time ago and there is one thing I remember very clearly from that conversation. She said this to me at the dining table while you were upstairs getting ready: “tolong ba bawa si meymey belajar. ajar ba dia, Lydia.” But now look at you, you have studied too much, more than I did 😂. So many years in Russia away from your family, yet you have endured past the hardest and darkest time, sometimes there are moments when no one even sees you when you were struggling (I am already proud just because of this), but you came out victorious! 🏆 I really have not much to say except that I am so proud of you and so are your family, also not forget, your mum would be so proud of you too for your resilience. At this point in our life, things like distance nor disagreements nor time zone difference should be able to stand in the way of our friendship, which I cherish a lot with my heart. I love you so so much, future godmother of my children (except for the first child that Lim claimed) and also my future maid of honour if I ever get married. PS: I met a new family member of the Wongs on this trip. And I think I am very funny to him. LOL.
