managed to finish my submission to th @adventuringfanbook right on time! Love that beach episode and davenchurch uhhhh and had to draw my faves having a moment of reprieve at the beach enjoying that good good wine!

Ahhh haha of course I did this at literally the last possible minute, BUUUT my pieces for @adventuringfanbook are finally done!! This was so much fun to do and I’m really proud of what I made! I can’t wait to see the end result

This is one of my all time favourite moments in TAZ (though let’s be honest, there’s a lot of em), coz I love Lucretia with 100% of my heart and Merle has this uncanny ability to speak kind, wise words when people need to hear them most… post-Balance Arc, the scene just punches my feelings.
Painted in watercolour and pencil, I tried to give the impression of a quiet evening in an onsen, since I was trying very hard to finish this piece before I flew away to a holiday in Japan. Which meant it also fell at the same time as my TAZ Animated BG and my wrist injury *facepalm*. It was a busy month! (Hey kids, learn from my mistakes and don’t take on 3 side projects in addition to your full time drawing job just for funzzies…! Pace yo’self)
Anywho, I’m happy with how it turned out given the parameters, and man oh man would I like to do a full colour version some time, and draw more of my fav TAZ moments. Only time will tell!
