legit question: how does one go through the process of getting a speech language pathologist or therapist as an adult?
I used to see one in elementary school from ages like 5 to 9 to deal with a stutter and lisp combo and it was really fantastic for me and it lasted me 2 decades with only minor slip-ups with my stutter.
but I’ve noticed in the past like 6-9 months my stutter has been slowly coming back and saying words and phrases lately has been kinda difficult for me to string together lately. just this morning I stumbled so hard through a whole ass sentence.
anyways I would appreciate some advisement from anyone who went through this process as an adult or knows someone who did as an adult
