It’s not meant to be as pretentious as it sounds or usually is. It really isn’t. It’s more her “thinking” sound.

Katyr didn’t know why he was doing it or what had driven him to see the need to protect this young Sin’dorei woman. But whatever the reason was he felt it would be against his code, against who he was as a person, to not at least make sure she made it back safely to wherever she was going from the club. He didn’t touch her or offer anything other than a friendly smile and guiding directions as he made sure to radiate a presence of ‘Do not fuck with’ so as to keep the ruffians at bay.

The Sin’dorei wanderer kept his eyes fixed ahead, not letting the thugs of the street try and intimidate him with mind games. But soon enough they were arriving at her inn, at least the one she had directed him to. “Alright. Get inside and don’t come out till after dawn.” Katyr told the woman, bowing to her with a smile as he started to make his way to leave.
