Questions:
Name a place or a person with whom you feel perfectly happy. they're not people, but my dogs. i love being with my them because they comfort me & i just enjoy being around them.
What is your favorite accent? i rather enjoy british accents, but for the most part, i just like accents in general. except really strong southern or boston accents, those i'm not so fond of.
What is one thing you are looking forward to (it can be something simple and short term or a long-term goal)? going to college and being off on my own.
What is your ideal housing situation (place and people)? i like little studio apartments in big cities. i wouldn't mind being alone, but i would prefer to be with someone, like a flatmate or a boyfriend.
If you had a day to spend with anyone at all (dead or alive), who would it be and what would you do? i would like to spend a day with my uncle tom. he passed away when i was 12 and we never really got to say goodbye.
Do you live in the moment or are you introspective and careful in your actions? i live in the moment, but way too often, think about the future. i tend not to think through my actions and act on impulse, but when i've got time, i focus on things i'll be doing tomorrow or next week or in 5 years.
Is being alone a good thing? in moderation, yes. i think with too much alone time, we think too much and too much thinking can lead to bad things.
What eye and hair color combination is your favorite for each gender? honestly, i have little to no preference. i've found blondes with blue eyes to be attractive and the same with dark hair and dark eyes, it really just depends on the person. people who stand out to me, though, have shocking eyes & generally darker hair.
If you could time travel but could only go back or forward (without changing anything), which direction would you choose to go? i would like to go back into the past. although i hate studding history, it absolutely fascinates me. i think going back & living in different time periods & experiencing different cultures would be really neat.
What is your opinion on people being able to choose the genetics of their potential children (like in the movie GATTACA)? i don't believe children should be genetically engineered. i feel that even our genetics help make who we are. changing a child's chance for cancer may save them and others from suffering, but ultimately you're changing who that child may become and ultimately the future. fun fact: GATTACA is called that because all the letters used in the name are base pairs for DNA (T&A and G&C)
Favorite book, poem or quote of all time and why? my favorite book is going bovine by libba bray. it's all about living in the moment and living life to the fullest but with a ton of humor and it's just awesome.
