Still stuck on a mini art block, have one of my soft bois, Afanen.

Really rough character exploration, I want to bring back an old character of mine, Afanen. I haven’t worked with him in at least seven or more years, and I really wanted to do a new re-vamp of his character design. He’s hylian, so I really wanted to make him look a little more like the npcs from Breath of the Wild. He’s far from finished, but I wanted to upload a little exploration for now.

That’s okay~ I haven’t spoken of Afanen in AGES… 

Afanen Faris is actually my very first hylian OC that I made a long time ago. He was a soldier/guard in Hyrule Castle Town, and that’s where he met his boyfriend~ 

Ever since then, however, Afanen and his lovely Turin (who belongs to my lovely @jacky-luluwrites) have actually gone on to become merman-princes instead of being hylian. Afanen being the crown prince/king of the Western Seas. Though I still make him hylian if he’s ever in a two-legged form.

Affy loves to chat, and he WILL chat your ears off if you’re not careful xD But he’s a great, big, lovable little fluffball that happens to have two outrageously long hair tufts. 

Fun Fact about Afanen: He may be a little bit of a ditz, but he’s smarter than he looks or acts. Most of the time he puts it on as a front, but really has an intelligent, kingly mind working under all of the squeaky fluffs on top of his head
