11 – Golus

Backstory: Being a nomadic tribe, the centaurs were treated poorly by the other Mauler tribes for a very long time. Golus was never satisfied with that ever since he was small but there was little he could do. After he became the chieftain however, he had made the decision to not let centaurs be treated poorly anymore. When they ran into the bear tribe who tried to take their resources, Golus didn't think twice before launching a surprise attack on the bear chieftain. The other centaurs caught on immediately and charged the disoriented bears. It was an important victory for the centaur tribe and a breaking point in how they were perceived by the other tribes.

Class: Fodder

Personal opinion: I don't agree with his policies. I'm generally not a fan of Maulers but Golus never interested me beyond his fodder potential. Reading his story, I just felt a bit uncomfortable. I don't agree with the Mauler societal structure in general but I still think paying to pass through someone else's territory is not exactly something to be frowned upon. The fact that he didn't even try to solve things peacefully just runs me the wrong way.

Headcanon: Less of a headcanon and more of wishful thinking but I would really want for him to meet with Warek and apologize because he literally ruined Warek's entire life. Warek, surprisingly enough, seems like a pretty reasonable bear so it could be interesting.
