The worst thing you can do when practicing yoga (much like anything else in life) is compare your journey to others. There’s always going to be someone more flexible than you, with more strength than you, and more discipline than you. And that’s okay because yoga is a deeply personal practice. Despite the pics and videos people post showcasing their yoga journey remember that at the end of the day what you’re doing is between you and your mat. Start where you are. Honor yourself there.
