Lance loves Shiro's scars and can't stop running his hands all over them. Sometimes when Shiro is taking a nap, Lance sits next to him with a book and strokes his scars absent-mindedly.

I’m convinced that Shiro absolutely hates his scars, but when Lance admits that he loves them it puts Shiro off, like… “they’re hideous, what???” and Lance laughs because he says that even though they symbolize the struggles Shiro’s been through, he still survived from them—and he still is!!! He’s so strong, and Lance truly admires him for that. He’s his hero, no matter what. But the fact that Lance doesn’t hesitate to touch them!!! Shiro is stunned by that, but he lets him. Even though he’s probably thinking that Lance is insane, he’s touched. It’s a sweet gesture. Lance makes Shiro feel comfortable in his body. Because if Lance loves Shiro’s flaws, then he should too! Although… Lance wouldn’t even consider Shiro’s scars as flaws!!! :’)
