Another day, another crowd of people come to gawk. Swimming in a tight circle, Seth stares out at the people with their faces pressed up against the glass of his tank. The bright lights the humans who ran this place had set up glinting off his gold-tinged scales, the supposed discoloration continuing in patches up his torso and down his arms.

Turning sharply, he darts up to the front wall of the tank in front of one of the more visually interesting people, giving a sharp-toothed smile and slapping both hands against his side of the glass. Sometimes they jumped; it wasn’t exactly the best source of amusement for the merman but it was something to occupy his time.
