AU (Death Eater: James Potter) On his first trip aboard the Hogwarts Express, James Potter never sat down with Sirius Black. He never met Remus or made friends with Peter. Instead, he quickly befriended his fellow purebloods. Their prejudices and traditions stuck to his brain, as if it was the missing puzzle piece he’s waited for all his life to be aware of. Did you come alone at the Spooky Pub event? “I actually didn’t go. I was out of town for an assignment for work. Had to help MACUSA with a few things over there. Keep good relations and all that.”

Were you on any terms with the victims? Have you ever spoken to them? “No, I don’t even remember if I ever met them.”

Have you ever read any of the victims’ books? “No, not really a reader.”

Did their deaths affect you in any way? “Not really, sir.”

How fast did you leave after the Dementors came? “I wasn’t there.”

Why do you think the two were attacked by the Dementors? Do you think they deserved to be ‘killed’? “No, I believe that if someone committed a crime, they should be arrested and the rule of law judge them. How we’ve always done it, sir.”

» Do you have a job? Where do you work?    I’m a professional Beater for the Holyhead Harpies, based in Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales.

» Were you on any terms with the victims? Have you ever spoken to them?    I was in Slug Club with them both at Hogwarts. Professor Slughorn always chose talented witches and wizards. I only ever spoke to Wilbert once, but since we all left school, I haven’t had any communication with him. Wendy, I spoke to her slightly more. Though I hadn’t been in contact with her for 6 months prior to the halloween party.

» Have you ever read any of the victims books?   I’ve seen many copies of them in Flourish and Blotts and other varying wizarding book shops. I’ve never bought a copy for myself, though.

» Did their deaths affect you in any way?   Yes. It shook me up a bit when I heard it was them. I’m still shocked, now. I grieved when I initially heard. Wendy and I didn’t have a tonne in common, and I wouldn’t go as far as saying we were friends but we were more than acquaintances through Slug Club, so I was a bit upset to read about her passing in the Daily Prophet.

» How fast did you leave after the dementors came? It wasn’t immediately. I was stood still, as if I was frozen solid for a minute. I felt as though I couldn’t breathe. After a few minutes, I managed to pull myself together and apparate out of there back to my home in Holyhead. I wish I could have taken others with me, but it was just chaos. Everyone was rushing to get out of there, and I couldn’t risk being there any longer, so I just apparated out.

» Why do you think the two were attacked by the dementors? Do you think they deserved to be ‘killed’?   I never thought Wendy nor Wilbert deserved to be killed in such a tragic way until I found out that her and her brother were big fans of the Dark Lord. I found that out via the Daily Prophet article. I don’t understand why dementors would be sent to kill them, though. If they were a follower or supporter of the Dark Lord, what reason did he have to kill them both? Perhaps they betrayed him. Who knows. I certainly don’t.

» Lastly, they were known to be into dark magic. Would you ever use dark magic on someone?   Absolutely not.

Did you come alone at the Spooky Pub event? I came alone, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Were you on any terms with the victims? Have you ever spoken to them? I knew of them from my work as an Auror, however I had never met them or spoken to them.

Have you ever read any of the victims’ books? No

Did their deaths affect you in any way? I’m not sure if they deserved the fate of a Dementor’s kiss but then again they were Death Eaters and committed crimes, so I would say no.

How fast did you leave after the Dementors came? I followed the crowd out once the Dementors entered most people rushed to leave.

Why do you think the two were attacked by the Dementors?Do you think they deserved to be ‘killed’? I have no idea, this sits strangely with me. On one hand they were death eaters and deserve justice, but at the same time is the Dementors kiss justice for their crimes or was it too harsh?

Lastly, they were known to be into dark magic. Would you ever use dark magic on someone? My career is based on bringing those who use dark magic to justice, I would never sink to their level and use it myself.

↳ modern!narcissa would be a lot like she is now, still showing off her husband whenever she gets the chance, hence him featuring prominently on her lockscreen as well as having an entire album dedicated to him in her phone. The people she most texts are her sister of course. Since they no longer live under one roof, they text everyday and their groupchat is always filled with sisterly banter and images traded of their day. they can’t have breakfast without narcissa wanting to know all about it. regulus and her mother also keep in contact frequently, the latter to nag her youngest daughter now she can’t do it face to face. then of course she messages lucius whenever he’s away, and narcissa is not afraid to double text if she’s left on read.

↳ narcissa must instagram at least three times a day, especially when she’s got an event later and wants everyone to know every minute of it, including the getting ready beforehand. she’s very much the annoying girlfriend who posts pictures of her boyfriend all the time just so everyone knows he’s taken, and that they’re both very happy thank you very much. narcissa is very active on any social media really, and what could you expect from a socialite come housewife? what else is she supposed to do all day? she tells everyone about everything, from how she’s helping charities today, to what flavour latte she got today. snapchat is very much the same, she likes to boast of the things she bought, how wonderfully their new kitchen is coming along, and when she’s pregnant that will be all over it too. narcissa is also very obsessed with emojis??
