I hate how im constantly anxious at my parents house. the human body was not made with this much anxiety in mind.

it feels like im constantly trying to mentally prepare myself for when I, inevitably, hear my parents or sister sneeze.

so much easier said than done but I imagine id feel so much better if I wasnt constantly thinking/worrying about someone in this house potentially sneezing.

I havent heard anyone sneeze yet. my mum, very kindly, bought me a new pair of my headphones that broke. I feel so much better than I did, now that I, again, have headphones that are pretty effective at blocking noise out.

I know that, despite having headphones that are very good at being noise cancelling, I will hear the members of my household sneeze at some point because I can't have these headphones on 24/7. the headphones are so good for minimising the amount of sneezes I hear, I'll never know how many I dont hear vs do hear so I'll never know just how effective they are but I know that they are.

completely unconsciously, I dont do this on purpose at all, whenever anywhere in this house when im not the only one in - i think/worry about who i may hear sneeze depending on where I am in the house. for example, earlier I was in the kitchen, with my noise cancelling headphones on but without music playing, and my parents were in the living room and, without meaning to, I was thinking like 'if my dad were to sneeze rn id hear it because even with the noise cancelling, without any music on, it would be loud enough for me to hear but I wouldnt if my mum did'. i have that sorta thing running in the background at all times and it can be pretty exhausting.

I love nose smushing. Someone rubbing their nose and the tip of it smushing upwards from the force, or somebody resting their hand near their face & just happening to rest it against their nose, causing it to scrunch up.

OR my fav scenario, if someone were to grab your hand to kiss it, and their nose is just long/big enough for its tip to squish against your skin <3
