Afternoon teas

Today me and my boyfriend, of nearly 2 years, went for afternoon teas at this fancy place in the forest about ten minutes drive from my house. We got it as a free-be in a raffle as we did last year as well so it was nice to do it again. They are always delicious and super posh e.g. Victoria sponge cake, scones, english breakfast tea etc.

There is something about sitting down in a big old leather chair and looking out at a beautiful landscape full of trees and ponds and fountains that can just make you happy. It makes you feel at ease and complete satisfaction being sat next to the person you love in such a harmonious setting with such wonderful food.

Now I’m off to have a horror film fest and some pizza … let’s try not to scar ourselves.
