Rescuing AFTG playlists from 8tracks shutdown!
Hey, @romickey here. Got this idea from @soulswimmr with their @ravencyclemixes, thought I’d make one for All for the Game too.
I love playlists and I love aftg, so I wanted to make a place to save aftg fanmixes after the shutdown of 8tracks, my personal favorite playlist platform and the only one I really used. I’ll be setting up this blog in the next few days, but I’d love to gather any mixes I can find, old or new, to collect into one place for people to be able to find them. Feel free to tag @aftgmixes in your playlist posts or message me about it, and maybe I’ll figure out how submissions work and if that would be something to use too.
If you don’t know where you’re going to put your playlists in the future, or if you’re not going to repost them at all (or if you’re cool with others saving them to spotify), still feel free to reach out! I’ll start with reblogging tracklists as I know a lot of people already have them posted to tumblr. If nothing else, I’d like to have a record of these wonderful mixes so that they are not lost to time (or wack startup companies that shutdown after a few years...)
Also, if you already have an aftg playlists blog, let me know and we can join forces/ I can give you all the ones I find, bc I didn’t see any such blogs when I looked it up but who knows, I didn’t look very hard.
