...&& let my mortal hands posses the life I knew before
A vision had passed her mind almost as quickly as a flash of lightening. It hit her with its sudden knowledge, a possible future, the possible pain—and left in an instant. But she knew, she knew it would be inevitable. At least, without her help.
In seconds, the witch appeared in the middle of her good friend’s apartment, golden eyes searching for a particular face. Not her dear friend Aname, but her lover. Her timing was perfect (as per always) for Calacas knew of everything which was happening at the very moment. She could see it all. She turned around to find Neiriss right before her, Aname in the showering, horribly humming a tune. She had to admit, though as beautiful Aname was, she was not exactly talented in music.
“Neiriss.” Spoke the woman, stiffly, eyes wide with a panic. “I need your help…without you…this…” She motioned to the room, the life he had with Ana. “It will not exist.” Her words were heavy with her accent, but each vowel and constant were understandable, and her concern even more so; for she feared for her friend’s happiness. “We must hurry!”
Calacas didn’t even pay any mind that the man was half naked nor did she care that he was human now—in fact, that would come in handy. He was exactly the way he needed to be. Perfect timing.
“Recuerdas…remember when Ashleigh showed you Ana’s daughter? Rie…” A soft frown shaped her heavy brows. “That was no mistake—neither was her abilities, similar to yours when demon…she is yours.” Calacas frowned, “but I cannot explain that right now. I must send you back, you have to try to save Aname…that way this will still be here.”
Calacas knew he was bound to fail, it was Aname’s fate to die. But how it happens, the tension which build between Ana and her ex-Fiance, the pregnancy that could not have happened without Neiriss…without her meddling. This has to happen. Now.
