It's not working.
I can't seem to advertise well enough on Deviantart and Tumblr alone. I just don't have the people skills for it.
SO, since my art can't be THAT bad, I was thinking of drawing in crowds through alternate sites. The problem is that I'm unsure where to start. Unfortunately, seeing that I'm not popular enough to generate commissions, I may not also be popular to gather the right help for this, but let's see how it goes.
Firstly, I'd like to know more about Patreon. Unlike the other sites I'll mention, I have no idea how this works. So if someone knows of an informative tutorial or walkthrough, or could at least tell me a little how it works, that'd be much appreciated.
Another site I've heard about is Redbubble. Basically it's a site where you can put your designs out there to be sold as stickers, phone cases, mugs, pillows, and the like. What I'd like to know, for anyone who has the knowledge, if this would be a good investment of my time and efforts, that it would better promote my art, or if there would be copyright issues that would prevent people from knowing who made the original design in the first place?
The last one, who I heard about from someone else, is called Society6. The way this site works and what I'd like to know about this site are near identical to Redbubble. Is it worth it? Will people know about my product, or with will my designs go unnoticed once they're bought?
Earning any kind of money and promoting my art has been greatly stressing me, so I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you may have!
