WHERE CHRISTOPHER STORER DRAWS INSPIRATION IN SEASON 4 EPISODE 7. THE BEAR MATRIX
Christopher Storer kinda thinks the audience needs help figuring out where he's drawing inspiration for the story as it continues
So he made sure Carmy and Marcus talk about Groundhog day. I think Christopher Storer may think the audience doesn't GET what he's trying to do. WE GET IT!
Then he gets Richie and Sydney to talk about The Matrix technology and other technology
He's not subtle about the Matrix either
He gets Richie and Sydney to talk about Frank's role and at one point. Making Richie look over at Frank with accusing eyes (it's why Frank is so perfect)
THEY even make Frank and Eva look like robots, suggesting a takeover of humanity and THAT is what it looks like
He gets Richie to say that he's afraid of AI SINGULARITY, which basically means that the machines become sentient and take over humans
They even use the woman in the red dress which was a test for THE ONE/ THE BEAR to see if he was ready to save them
He got distracted by the woman in the red dress and ends up with a gun in his face by an AGENT
Remember when Fak said something about a bullet for being Carmy's best friend?
When he finally BELIEVES IN HIMSELF, he and TRINITY/SYDNEY who is also revealed to be THE ONE /THE BEAR as well, SAVE the world/restaurant TOGETHER etc etc
