Metatron: fun Cas-centric villain or annoying twerp

Bleh, annoying twerp. I think I feel this way about a lot of villains on Supernatural: they’re good until they’re not good anymore and then instead of killing them off when they’re not good anymore they double down and have them hang around twice as long as they should. So yeah, I guess all this to say I think Metatron started off as a fun villain and then lasted long enough past his prime that his annoying twerp-ness outweighed the fun of him.

Though he did give us one of the most iconic lines in show history so I can’t be too annoyed with him.
