hi! BSL for I love you is different than ASL :)
The commissioner for that piece is deaf and requested that specific gesture. According to other people I’ve spoken with, the ILY in ASL has been adopted in many places and is ‘universal’. Which is something I didn’t know before doing the art!
But yes, you’re right! BSL does not have that gesture--the “I love you” is different--but many people use the ASL ILY anyway.
sorry if it's been asked already, but what real story is Change of Pace based on
My story, actually! I had pacemaker surgery on November 2nd of 2017. I’ve healed up very nicely, but the entire time I was at the hospital I thought, “Man, this would make a great comic.” And here we are!
what happened to Whatever Remains?
In doing fine lineart, I discovered that I use a lot of my upper body. I tense and release my shoulders and neck, I mean. That’s been hard for me to do since I had surgery.
It’s kind of irritating, but it is what it is. It’s going to take a while to get back to FULL full strength. I’ve been exercising frequently and I can do everyday things okay. But I’m still getting twinges in my armpit when I overdo it. So I’m trying to be good about not straining my left arm.

i have the same kind of keyboard as you and i lost 'w' and it turned out that those 'sticks' on the back of a key that held it to the keyboard broke a bit and thats why it didn't want to click.
yeah I think that’s what happened I didn’t know how to describe it
I’m really about to glue the key azjhshdjk it can’t get worse than it already is
