i have LOVED it !!! i actually want to rewatch the full series now but we will see if that happens or not👀
i just overall find it so fascinating and love to come up with theories and try to connect all the little clues and easter eggs, i got so excited when we started to figure out who vecna was and what happened that i was shouting my thoughts out loud ahdjfjd
also the eighties style <3 i love the colours and omg also it just came to mind like the cinematography ??? the rink and the mall and also the spooky small town vibes AND !!! omg can we talk about the parallels of the hawkins squad in s4 when the older kids and younger kids were both on the bikes trying to get to eachother ?? i loved that scene so much and the way the camera panned up to show them all and then a similar thing again when they met eachother by the gate omggggg
and overall i was so drawn in by everyones story, i actually quite enjoyed the fact that they were split up so we could see all the different aspects of how the upside was still affecting them, and also everything that happened last season with the byers (including el) moving away for a fresh start and hopper not really being around anymore until he is (busted out of prison by the one and only joyce (and murray lets not forget his karate skills). honestly what a moment when they saw eachother again🥺😭)
moments that are stuck in my mind: max escaping vecna (running up that hill is just a perfect song), the shootout at the byers house (it was a single take... im AMAZED) and also noah schnapp's acting got me there i was absolutely stuck in that scene with him seeing will panic so hard, every scene with steve, i also rlly liked the parallel between el and her younger self as she went through all her memories
