CW: emotional damage
Dear Strider,
The moment I lost you, the Zone shifted Her structure. Everything around me seemed to shrivel and die. My heart aced. I kept walking, hearing only the crunch of ash beneath my boots, and every step reminded me that you could never walk by my side again.
I need you to know that I don’t blame you. You wouldn’t blame an anomaly for being dangerous, right?
I only wish you knew how terribly I miss you. I didn’t even get to say goodbye. Only “see you”.
