Emma Approved Challenge Day 1

FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER:

EMMA WOODHOUSE

I'm probably one of the few people who have adored Emma from EA from the beginning of the series. I even wrote a post about it, somewhere on my blog. To sum up my thoughts, I do not understand why people would hate her so much as to not watch the series anymore. Um, she is suppose to be unlikeable and I don't think that should diminish her worth as a character. Why does she even have to be likeable/relatable? (I could rant all day about this so I'll stop). Maybe I just have a soft spot for her, idk. 

Point being, I love her unwavering belief (though sometimes misdirected) in her beliefs and in her confidence to get the job done. I love the way she gets excited for the people she loves when good things happen to them. (And I think Alex sees that deep down, she does care).

<3 It was fun to make and come up with the questions, even if I wasn’t pleased with some of them in the end. I’m so pleasantly surprised people are doing it :) I think I'm going to myself after exams!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE!

So I just came back from watching Ender's Game!! Such a visually stunning film and I freaking adore the soundtrack. 

My book to movie review will be coming up in the next few days.

In other news, today is the official start of my PJO/HOO reads year! SUPER EXCITED! So, get out your PJO and the Lightning Thief books and start readin'.

1. Favorite Friendship?

Cara: Jem Carstairs & Will Herondale Alex: Harry Potter & Ron Wesley

2.If two (or more) book characters were to crossover from different book worlds, who would you want them to be?

Cara: I think it would be really interesting to have Jace and Clary end up in Panem and have to deal with The Hunger Games somehow.

Alex: Ohh I would love for Kauru and Akiva to help out in the world of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel verse that would be quite interesting 

3. Book you would want to become a movie?

Cara: The Uglies Alex: The Night Circus

4.Favorite OTP?

Cara: Clace Alex: Clace

5. Worst ending ever?

Cara: Oh gosh, I don't know.  Alex: Umm I hated the ending to Paper Valentine it was a wonderful read but the ending was kinda anti-climatic 

6.Favorite group ensemble? (Ex: Harry, Ron and Hermione)

Cara: Harry, Ron & Hermione, haha. Also Percy, Annabeth & Grover Alex: The TMI group(Jace, Clary, Simon, Magnus, Alec, Izzy)

7.Character you love as a character but would probably hate in real life?

Cara: Draco Malfoy Alex:  umm none

8. Favorite Scene in a book?

Cara: My current favorite scene is from Clockwork Princess when Jem and Will have their heart-to-heart and Jem says "I will not be gone from you entirely, Will." Alex: I have a few but I can't really pinpoint one..probably every scene in Slice of Cherry where Kit and Fancy killed someone lol

9.Favorite Christmasy book?

Cara: I think I've only ever read one Christmas novel and it was called Secret Santa, I think. It was decent lol. Alex: ummm I don't think I've read any christmasey books

10. Book you stayed up really late to finish reading?

Cara: Practically every good book I've ever read, lol. But most recently was The Fault in Our Stars. Alex: omg so many lol, but I think the worse was OotP from the HP series..I stayed up till like 6 in the morning and i had church the next day

I have so many, but right now, probably Percy Jackson.

Hmm..Light Yagami from Deathnote. He's so annoying.

8. f you could go to any book world which one would it be?

My obvious answer would be Hogwarts and the wizarding world. But I would love any world with magic like the world in the Bartimeus Trilogy

bookmarks definitely. I rarely ever dog ear pages

i wish they didn't happen to my books and I try so hard not to crack them at first but it's inevitable ):
