A Quiet Evening || Closed

It hadn't been a long journey, which was why Lia had enough energy to go to the local restaurant after she had unpacked her things at the local B&B. It was a nice enough town, she wondered though if she were to stay if she would grow bored quickly. She had never lived in a small town before so she would be unable to predict an answer to the question. Lia sat down at a lonely table and opened up the menu, taking a glance through it trying to decide what she would like to eat. Perhaps a burger? She hadn't even realized how hungry she was until she sat down. All she could think about was food rather than the case she was working on.

Kara sat with her back pressed tightly up against the wall, lifting her head slowly to look at the man standing a few feet away. She shouldn’t have gotten into this situation….this time even, to begin with. But stuck in this century, she’d tried to stay unnoticed, living a quiet life on the edge of town.

However, having no kin to take ‘posession’ over her, even as a grown woman she was subject to the land’s new marriage dictates. Why she hadn’t simply run from this place, she didn’t know.

Marcus wasn’t sure why they decided to become allies with them. They don’t care about New Orleans. And they don’t care about the witches that live here, or what they do to the vampires and wolves around here. But Eden said they were going to help, and Marcus would follow Eden anywhere.

Thankfully there isn’t much havoc in the Quarter. He spent most of his time as he would if he wasn’t here, reading, or wandering, or working on cars. He trains some of the new vampires that others have made since he has had experience with it, recently, with Charlee. But mostly he felt bored. And he wasn’t a fan of being bossed around by the ‘Hybrid King’ or his older brother second in command. He usually has to be reasked by Eden for it to get done.

Despite the older, older Mikealsons being dick biscuits, Marcus is slightly fond of the younger Original Rebekah. She’s nice, enough anyway. And is much uppity and more approachable than her brothers. And she has an interest in cars, which is nice.

Marcus might actually really like her. If he could really like a woman.
