Can we see some Theta and Sigma interaction? What did they think of each other?
Watching his brothers was... interesting. Sigma had much time to reflect on them all, able to multitask better than the rest with what little effort Maine’s suit required him to use to power. A bit of juice here and the big guy was stronger than thirty men, tossing cars around like they were toys. It was amusing.
Not amusing enough to keep his attention. So instead he watched his brothers. More specifically... he liked to watch Theta.
Bright little ball of cheer, that’s what the fragment seemed like. Playing around with his projected skateboard, letting himself appear that he was sitting on his Freelancer’s shoulder. It was whimsical. Childlike. Ridiculous. And yet endearing. Sigma never spoke to Theta. Never directly. Never had the chance. Maine and North did not usually mix company, and it gave him little opportunity to interact with his smallest brother. Shame. He had to wonder what he could accomplish if he could get little Theta to trust him.
For AI Monday, can you do a thing with Delta and Omega? Please?
Delta should steer clear of him, the dark shadowy figure that hovered at Texas’s shoulder from time to time, rarely seem for more than a few fleeting seconds before she waved him away. She didn’t like using Omega, that much was clear, at least to the other fragments. The humans had little idea of anything that was really going on.
You could hardly blame them, Delta supposed. Ones so enthralled in a tangled web often miss the little subtleties. Like how Omega would flicker his hologram to get Texas’s attention, as though she was ignoring their connection and that was his only way to make her see. How his hologram never seemed to settle on a single color variant, how he was a sea of purple and silver, grey and black. Shadowed light. Oxymoronic.
Like how when he spoke, the few times Delta managed to hear him verbal, it was layered, as though he had multiple voices layering within each other. It wasn’t like Sigma’s echo, not as creepy. Delta wasn’t sure what to make of him. The other fragments he had a very clear sense of, but Omega was the exception. Logically he knew he shouldn’t waste his time. They were not allowed to speak to each other after all. And yet...
This was one brother he almost wanted to break the rules for.
Eta and Iota shenanigans for Ai week? (I love your twins!)
“Come on!”
Eta pulls on her brother’s hand, nervous for once as they approach the base. “Shit, we’re so late!”
“E slow down!” Iota keeps pace with her, biting on the inside of his cheek to keep from wincing as he walks. They were coming back from a job, and he’d landed wrong on his ankle. Hadn’t exactly made the trip back pleasant. “We can’t! Delta’s gonna be up soon and we gotta get back!” Eta hates that she know’s he’s in pain, but they couldn’t be late. Couldn’t let their brothers know they’d been taking jobs behind their back. They barely let the twins leave the house as it was. If they find out they’d been moonlighting merc work? Oh they’d never see the light of day again.“What are we gonna do?” Iota murmurs as they approach the gate. “Can’t use the front... Fuck I wish Florida wasn’t away on a job.”“He didn’t know we took the job,” Eta surveys over the compound before her. “We’re gonna have to like... break in and sneak to our rooms.”
Iota doesn’t argue, doesn’t protest. He just sighs. Of course they would. That was just their lives.
(I asked Sight too but I'm thirsty alright?) Wash and Delta? Shippy or otherwise?
“Hey.”Wash doesn’t bother to look up. He knows Delta’s voice, and he also knows that there isn’t really anyone he wants to see less now. Not after... He toys with the lapel of his suit coat, as if his only concern was the bit of lint on the deep black of the fabric. “Ignoring me will not cause me to go away, David,” Delta insists, his voice gentle as Wash notes the quiet man, York’s best friend, sitting down at his side. “I really wish it would,” Wash grumbles under his breath. “I don’t want to be around...”“He wouldn’t blame you.”Wash goes tense. How could Delta say that? How could he even begin to suggest that this whole thing wasn’t his fault. When he looks up to protest, though, he sees the tears in the other man’s eyes. Deep, emerald eyes, filled with a pain Wash knows is echoed in his own heart. So he reaches out and pulls Delta closer. If he can’t deal with his own grief, maybe he can deal with Delta’s a little bit. “It’s okay to hurt,” Wash whispers. “He’d want us to be strong.”Delta nods, and together they sit there for a long time. And Wash does his best not to read too much until the fingers that interlace with his after a time. This was, by far, the last time to act on something York had been egging him on about for months. Or maybe... maybe it was the perfect time. Maybe somewhere York was cheering them on.
maybe something with twins alpha and epsilon?
Carolina always worries about the twins. It’s gotten harder to care for her brothers ever since she went to college, especially given her very full soccer schedule. in the grand scheme of things she hasn’t seen either of them in weeks. But it’s an off-week, she doesn’t have a paper to work on, and as much as she would rather be back on campus with her boyfriend so they can finally have a romantic evening with him, she instead makes time for her brothers. Mostly because they’ve been fighting the last few weeks according to Epsilon. As much as she just wants to rest after the long drive back home from campus, the first thing she does is go to find her brothers. First she checks the living room, but of course, no peaceful interaction there. Nor does she find either of them in the lounge where she knows Epsilon likes to curl up in the sunny window to read. In the end she gets Alpha’s door just the littlest bit open before she freezes. The sight makes her smile as well. How long has it been since she’s come in and seen the twins curled up together in bed, resting as a pair. At least she wasn’t going to have to spend her time home making peace.
Alpha and Beta's reunion in the Meta?
“Do you know me now?” Hers wasn’t a voice he expected when he flung himself into the Meta, but it’s a welcome one. She pushes the other voices back, holds them off for a moment as she opens her arms to him. “Tex,” he answers, and her laughter runs through him in a way the feels like completion. He moves into her arms and as they settle around them Church, Alpha, knows they had always been there before. Always would be there. “Close enough.”
sigma and washington?
“What is the point of longing?”Washington groans at the low whisper of his AI. He could already feel his ears turning red. This conversation, the conversation that Sigma always tried to have with Washington when they were alone, was the last thing Wash wanted to be having in the locker room. In the locker room while his team is winding down from a long day of training and everyone is in various states of undress, bodies glistening with sweat and speckled with bruises. “All you have to do is reach out,” Sigma whispers, and there is such allure in his voice. “Touch and it can be yours. All you need is...”The fiery past disappears quickly when a hand comes down on Wash’s shoulder, and blushing, he turned to look at York. “You okay?” York asks, sounding genuinely concerned. Imagine the taste of his lips on yours, and the lovely sounds he could make. “Fine,” Wash squeaks, looking away. He’s fine. He will be fine. If Sigma ever shuts up.
