/rp Sapnap said so many things in anger and hurt, but he also so very clearly loves Dream. People get hung up on the anger, on the self-sacrifice of him saying he would kill Dream (without understanding that this is self-sacrifice, that this isn't hatred, it's as merciful as Sapnap knows how to be) that they forget the fact that Sapnap loves him, still, in that way that hurts to think about the things that went wrong, in that way where you need the distance of blame to keep yourself from crumbling. It's just... Sapnap, man. He fucked up big time, sure, but so did Dream, so did George. I hope one day he learns that loved differently doesn't mean loved less. He could've been spared of a lot of pain if he'd understood that.

gods but Sapnap is such a tragic character. look at him, what he has left? almost nothing! an empty kingdom. he is really unfair towards Dream, sure, but it's so tragic, because he got caught up in lies and half-truths and silence and misunderstanding and secrets of his best friends and his family. imagine being him. imagine losing your loves for the things that are beyond your understanding. imagine looking how one of your best friends become evil and the other best friend deny to keep living. imagine that your dad invites you on the party just to find out that it was set up to kill you all. he called Quackity his friend and why? is that because he believe it? is that because he tries to protect himself? is that because he really thinks it's over? where is the line for Sapnap to absolutely lose it.
I'm angry at him because sometimes it looks like he doesn't try to understand Dream. but Sapnap is so angry at the word and I can't blame him for it because he has only empty kingdom and he doesn't understand why. maybe he blames Dream because that's the only thing that makes sense for him.
I also hope that one day he will understand and that he finds out that it's much more complicated that just blaming Dream. and maybe he will be able to rethink some things. and I really really hope that's happens before he put swords to Dream's throat, guys please...
