Well, well, well, if it isn’t Aiden Voight. Word around town is you’re 26 years old and a Private Investigator at Voight's PI . I don’t need to rely on word of mouth, though - I already know everything there is to know about you. For instance, I know you’re probably out hiking, exploring nature. I also know that you recently failed to kill yourself. Yikes. Funny how things spread like wildfire in the small confines of Bar Harbor, huh? Oh, don’t worry.. your secret is safe with me. Everybody has a story, here’s his:
Aiden Voight was born into nothing short of the picture perfect family, he was the oldest son to college sweethearts and had a younger sister. His family came from old money and were a prominent town fixture, having mayors, senators and governor's, as well as other Voight's with their hands in politics and leadership roles. To say he was born with a silver spoon would be a sad understatement the family had diamond incrusted spoons and Aiden wanted no part of that. Having been raised by a rather kind hearted nanny the male kept good morals, questioned everyone and was never afraid to be himself, at least until his parents got rid of that nanny and he stepped in line doing exactly what was ever expected of him. After some trouble's in high school he was sure that once he was eighteen it would be like the movie's he would go off to college become his own man and start his own life. Everything always came at a catch. He could choose his own college, so long as he majored what his parents expected him too, clearly a child like him wouldn't do well in politics so they'd figured him to join the family law firm and keep out of their hair for at least six years so he could realize where it was that Voight's belonged. He got through one year before dropping out and making it out on his own. He stopped using the family money and disappeared from social media, becoming pretty much invisible the male did what any normal kid would do. He went to community college, worked two jobs and really found himself. Maybe it took him a little longer, and eventually he did go back to his family and get some financial help, but he was at the point of no return and was only a Voight by name and looks. He got paid by his family for his appearance and support in exchange of no expectations of him- nor any actual love. Having spent summers in Bar Harbor, he was no stranger to the charm of the small town, however two years ago he'd fled the town after a heartbreak and came back recently on a job, and after his mother letting it slip that it was possible he had a family of his own out there. Of course since that drunken blunder she's turn cold and stopped replying to Aiden, but he's determined to get some answers without the cost of his soul.
