Aiden looked around curiously as he followed behind his older brother, Ethan, interest definitely peaked by the mysterious location they were walking towards. It was a temple he hadn’t even seen before, yet he was sure he had passed the area multiple times. The reason they were there was for some sudden meeting called for the witches to gather. He was just lucky to tag along since he was with his brother when he was called. “Hyung, is it really okay if I come?” Might be a bit late to ask, but he thought he’d shoot the question anyway while he could turn back.
Ethan glanced over at his younger sibling and nodded his head, “Of course. You won’t really be in on the meeting itself, but you are allowed to wait in one of the areas in the temple while we meet privately in one of its rooms. There’s almost always some sort of designated waiting area for the extras that follow.”
“Oh... Okay, well, is there anything I should know about it before we walk in. Like, magic related stuff?”
Ethan hummed as he tried to think about it, already walking through the temple entrance with his brother as he turned around once more to look at him, brows raising as he did so. “Oh... Well, there’s that.”
“That?” Aiden furrowed his brows until he felt his ears perking. Now for anyone else that may seem normal, but his ears weren’t normal anymore. The charmed necklace hidden beneath the collar of his sweater was nulled as he stepped through the entrance, causing his German Shepherd ears and tail to show. “Oh no-”
“Now, Aiden, there’s no need to panic. It’s completely normal for magic to be nulled in a meeting place. It assures everyones safety-”
“Hyung, no, this is not okay- What if someone sees me?!” His ears moved all sorts of ways to show his shifting emotions, tail already tucked between his legs when fear and anxiety settled in. Even a whimper passed his lips. “I’m not some magical creature, hyung, people are gonna stare at me and think I’m some sort of science experiment from Hell!”
“The worst case scenario is that someone would think you were a furry-”
“Hyung!” Aiden whined and whimpered more, unable to hold back the dog like sounds that escaped him as he frantically tried to hide his ears and tail, though to no avail. “What am I gonna do??”
