Once again Katherine found herself stood in front of Connor’s fruit stand as she watched the funniest shade of red pass over his face as he got more annoyed at her presence and her badgering, though it didn’t stop her determination at trying to get at least one smile before she moved on. Kate had made it her own personal mission to get the fruit farmer to open up to her and eventually get him to expand his inner circle and not be so anti social and grumpy, even if it clearly wasn’t going according to plan.
Not wanting to push him too far and have all her hard work backfire on her, Kate knew it was time to call it quits for the day before she ended up wearing something from the stand. Turning around she spotted Aiden behind her with a nervous look on his face which only widened the already existing smile on her face. “Oh, he totally was but that’s normal for him. It’s just a special bond we have.” She gave a shrug of her shoulders as if it was the most normal thing in the world. “I have that affect on people.”
