I’m currently on a German music binge because I’m want to assign each of my main OCs a German song. What song do you associate with your OC? Why this song in particuliar? Would your OC like the song based on their own music taste?

Good, that’s a really cool project you’re taking on !

And I love the idea of pairing a song with a character ! I’ve already given it some thought myself and…

As for Aiko, I’d definitely pair her with Kyu-Kurarin by iyowa !

Personally, I love this song (and the producer himself), so that helps me link it to a character. But above all, it suits Aiko so well… It’s a song with a light melody but heavier lyrics than you think. It really captures her cheerful personality whilst adding depth. And I looooove that the song ends on a note of ambiguity. Does the happy ending really happen ? Who knows ?

And would Aiko like this song ? I think so. She doesn’t specifically listen to Vocaloid music, but she wouldn’t mind it. She listens to a bit of everything, but mainly anything that isn’t Japanese; it helps her learn a bit more about different languages.

Getting back to ‘Kyu-Kurarin’, it would be fun to sing, so she quite likes it. That said, Aiko certainly wouldn’t identify with it ; she’s always happy in life, you see…?

I’ve got a longer drive ahead of me in the upcoming weeks and I’m dreading it a lot. Can your OC drive? If yes do they enjoy it or would they rather avoid it? Do they have any bad driving habits? If they can’t drive how do they usually travel?

And what an interesting project, Aiko is so excited about this trip ! And if you're stressed, no worries: she'll drive with pleasure, she really enjoys it !

... the real question is : will you enjoy it when Aiko drives ? (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

The least we can say is that Aiko has a very... dynamic driving style. She got her license, but between her inattentiveness because of her ADHD and her hyper-intuition, you might have a near heart attack depending on how she handles certain situations. She also loves the thrill, so you'll have to remind her of the speed limits from time to time xD. Though, not on curves; she remains cautious. It's only on straightaways that things can get tricky.

And if you're in Italy, remind her that she needs to drive and take roundabouts on the correct side lol

That said, she tries to use public transport as much as possible to limit pollution and at the request of her friends xD

As for Rinka (her best friend), even though driving isn't her thing, she can drive if you're not feeling well (and prevent Aiko from doing it). With her, you can sleep soundly; she drives carefully and doesn't have any bad driving habits.

One of my passions is trying to copy people’s styles I love (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

So I tried to draw Aiko in a style as close as possible to the khr calendars :

A few more anecdotes for those who are interested below :

* I haven't chosen an anniversary for them yet. Probably sometime this summer

* I changed the template from "kills bugs" to "loves bugs" because neither of them would kill insects. Insects are Reborn's friends, after all

* Reborn is the best caregiver because he can use the flames of the sun lol

* I tried not to check everything in "love language" for both of them and it was really hard (and there are still quite a few checked). Just assume I could have checked everything for both of them actually, just try to select their "favorite" love language

* I filled out this template as them in post-relationship. Special mention to "Kiss the Villain" by 40meterP if I'd had to choose a pre-relationship song

Do you know why Aiko eats in such an absolutely adorable way ?

Yes, I have an explanation for it.

It's because when she was little, she saw her brother having his food stolen all the time (because of certain people). So, she developed a new technique: she puts her entire meal in her cheeks, then chews and swallows slowly, very slowly... She's never choked (sometimes she gets a bit bloated, but nothing serious). It's a habit she managed to break when she became a teenager, but just sitting next to certain people brings the reflex back (and Reborn dreams of pressing on her enormous cheeks).

(It will take another ten years for her to completely break this habit.)

(And to think she started this habit out of fear of having her food stolen, even though no one has ever stolen it from her, lol.)

For Aiko what does the height 5'22'' mean? Do you mean she’s 5 feet and 2 inches. Or 5 feet and 22 inches?

Maybe I should admit it now ; I don't use feet/inches as a unit of measurement, but centimeters (no kidding). So, innocently, I go to a converter website and after a few tries, I come across this:

And I think, "Okay, so it's about 5'22" "

☝️This person mixes everything up and didn't realize their mistake (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠;)

Because, actually, it was thanks to your message that I understood the difference.

5 feet and 22 inches, Aiko would be practically 2 meters tall 💀🤣 she would practically be taller than the entire cast, everyone would look at her like this :

All this to say ; Aiko is 159cm tall, so about 5 feet and 2 inches (I don't want to give her one more cm because I want to frustrate her for being so short, haha.)

Thanks for your questions ! They're interesting, so I’ll try to answer them as best I can ~ !

1. How does Aiko feel about Bianchi?

To tell you the truth, Aiko really likes Bianchi. When Aiko first arrived, Bianchi took a liking to the newborn and took her under her wing. Aiko sees her as an older sister who sets a good example and teaches her life lessons (and a few recipes, too). As she grows up, Aiko sees her as a true role model, wanting to become as beautiful and serious as she is (a feeling that’s reinforced when she learns about the relationship between Reborn and Bianchi).

2. Who would probably have a crush on your OC?

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but since she’s younger than most of the canon characters, not many people have had a crush on her ; however, she’s been incredibly popular since middle school, peaking during high school. Quite a few of her classmates had a crush on her, whether they admitted it or not, because of her kind and cute nature (charm that she'll retain as an adult)
