now that aim has taken away updates completely and won't be available outside of the us unless you're using the browser version, where are us non-american roleplayers moving to? I have always used aim from mobile because I am often out and about, now I am unsure how to keep in touch because those I write with are us residents and don't want to move platforms.

So people are complaining about aim no longer having a feed and are now moving to new apps. That makes no sense to me? MSN never had a feed but still used it. So why does AIM no longer having a feed effect your roleplaying and conversations?

I mean I guess there’s nothing wrong with moving to new applications but why are you guys moving it phone only apps like peach? Why not to something that’s both on PC and AIM?

I should remind you guys Yahoo messenger is still pretty good and better than aim if you’re all seriously looking for better messengers.

You can use AIM through IM+ for free. Aim app hasn't been available in my country for years but using it from IM+ has been helpful. It still messes up a bit, crushing or making me appear online when I have appear offline on at times but it's worth the trouble.

Are people still thinking the aim issue is the updates being gone? Yeah, it sucks but the main problem is the international thing, not associating with third party apps. Even if you have the apk, we won't know if we can still log in on mobile until the day. I've given up on IM apps and am sticking to platforms.
